Everybody is vibecoding and it’s beautiful. Though admittedly, it took a bit of time to get used to clients sharing their weekend's vibecoding projects on top of our systems always followed by the classic “how hard can it be to add it to the system?”
Well, those who actually persisted at this new hobby have quickly realized two things: - It takes blood and sweat to work out all the edge cases they don't have the time and patience for- It’s not worth a dime unless the data ends up in the system and there are enough manual overrides for real users to get the desired results
And that’s where the real work begins and AI takes its designated role of data parsing and assisting in coding. Any shortcuts quickly end up in the kinds of token usage bills that make Claude a swear word among management and end users alike.
