In a recent LinkedIn post, the author shares his emotions following the purchase of Voxme Digital Inventory by a user who had been familiar with the Voxme solution for a long time.
He first noticed the Voxme brand on the inventory lists of US military personnel moving from Japan to the United States. He had previously explored the option of purchasing the product, but was discouraged by the high cost, the need for a CRM system, and the annual licenses USD $600 per device.
Everything changed when he’s learned about the option to pay just $300 for cloud portal access, plus $3 per completed inventory only. He didn’t hesitate and purchased a subscription right away.
The very next day, he’s gained access to the portal and began training. According to the agreement, the first month of training is free of charge.
In reality, the Bingo Portal model, launched three years ago, addresses several psychological and economic challenges inherent in the household goods moving industry.
1. Extreme Seasonality
Up to 75% of all the jobs occur during the three summer months. The rest of the year is often a survival mode, where any unnecessary expense is met with animosity.
2. Use of subcontractors
In many companies, packing and pickup operations are carried out by subcontractors. Purchasing licenses for them is both costly and demotivating.
It is demotivating because a subcontractor equipped with the software can use it for jobs from a competitor who never paid for the software - effectively erasing the competitive advantage that a digital inventory provides in the eyes of the customer.
It is costly because there are many subcontractors, and buying licenses for all of them is not economically viable. At the same time, companies want to appear consistent and reliable to their customers: if digital inventories are promised, they should be delivered on every job. Otherwise, they are applied selectively - which is what most often happens.
This is why the pay-as-you-go model becomes a true moveable feast - flexible, fair, and economically sound.
We wish ourselves luck and success in educating all interested moving professionals on this payment model for Voxme digital inventory - a solution that is reliable and proven by 23 years of real-world experience.
