I always wondered how experienced hunters know where to lie in wait when the dogs chase hares or foxes.
Until I realized that the animals run in circles and eventually come back to the starting point.
These associations come up when the topic of printing individual barcoded labels for moving are being discussed.
We have been working with this for 20 years.
At first, the labels were ordered from material suppliers, like business cards in a print shop.
Then the technology and the printers and software made it possible to include barcode label printing inside the infrastructure of large companies, where the printing program was installed on a specific computer.
People who came from these types of companies could see in practice how business processes were built around barcoded labels and the ability to scan them.
However, the cost of running this type of printing process, which required a large and complex system, made the labels not viable economically.
The cloud solution for barcode label printing made specifically for moving - bingo.voxme.com, launched three years ago - allows you to set up label printing for an annual subscription of $300 dollars and the cost of a printer with a box of labels for under $1,000 dollars.
Considering that a Zebra printer lasts about 10 years, the cost comes to around $100 dollars per year for the printer, and as a result, the cost of printing individual barcoded labels becomes lower than the cost of traditional moving tags.
The recommended “printer + correct labels” package can be purchased here:

The subscription is purchased at bingo.voxme.com.
If details need to be clarified or a demo is needed, the site also explains the digital bingo applications for barcode scanning and the digital inventory application, also included in the portal.

And what do hunters and hares have to do with all this?
It’s simply a metaphor for a constantly repeating process where most shots miss, but sometimes one gets to hit a target - for the target’s own benefit.
