the difference between traditional moving tags and job specific labels

What’s the difference between a moving tag and a barcoded job specific label?

The tag doesn’t carry any job specific information, it exists on its own. The unfinished tag rolls are hard to throw away, which leads to mix-ups between multiple series of tags with different colors and number sequences in the same job. The tags come off easily as they were invented to be easily removed from naked furniture in the beginning of 20th century.

The labels, on contrary, were invented to stick to the package plastic and carton. The labels have job specific info, including the job number which on its own prevents missing inventory and mixups. The barcode on the label is unique and can be scanned by an app using camera or scanner.

Traditionally, the downside of this type of labeling have been the costs associated with the necessary software and internal servers.

Voxme Bingo Label portal doesn’t need a server and the cost of setting up a printer and using the portal for a year is only USD $600.

For an extra fee you can get your company logo on the label to serve as your own advertisement, reminding your clients who’ve handled their move.
